Hornby
Hornby is the name most synonymous with model railways in the UK, founded in 1901 the company first produced Meccano releasing it's first clockwork train in 1920. Hornby Hobbies still has it's HQ in Margate, Kent although all production takes place in China and now India. The company also owns other iconic British model brands Airfix, Scalextric and Corgi.
